Core Parts LLC was established in February of 2015 to fulfill a market need. Our capabilities go well beyond those of your average parts supplier. In addition to our extensive PT6 OEM inventory, we are an FAA Production Approval Holder (PAH) certified under 14CFR Part 21 (Approval # PQ05326NM). This approval allows us to develop FAA/PMA replacement parts that are equal to or better than the OEM parts they replace at a cost that is a significantly better value to our customers.
WHAT WE DO
Premier supplier of aftermarket parts.
We are developing our PMA and DER Programs with the intent of becoming the premier supplier of aftermarket parts. We also stock a large inventory of used serviceable OEM parts that are a great alternative to buying new OEM parts when trying to control costs. Our goal is to provide our customers with options for the high-quality parts that they need to help them control their DOC without sacrificing quality.

Shirley Brostmeyer
CEO
Shirley Brostmeyer started Florida Turbine Technologies in 1998 and helped to grow it into a technology intensive engineering and manufacturing business. Since selling FTT to a publicly traded defense contractor in 2019, Shirley has been working to expand Core Parts to provide low cost manufacturing and inspection solutions to the DOD. Shirley has 36 years of gas turbine design experience, and worked as a design engineer and engineering manager at GE Aircraft Engines and ABB before starting FTT. Shirley has a BSME from UVA and an MSME from RPI.
Cyrus Ghassemi
QUALITY MANAGER
Cyrus joined Core Parts as Quality Manager in January 2016. Cyrus has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with over 27 years of aerospace experience in both Engineering and Quality Assurance. His extensive background in the Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) process helped him to develop and maintain quality systems certified to AS9100 and approved by the FAA. Cyrus is a Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR) since 2001.
Rod Thompson
QUALITY ENGINEER
Rod has over 23 years of aerospace manufacturing experience, primarily in Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering roles. His experience includes a wide range of manufacturing processes, from sheet metal to precision machining. Rod has spent the last 14 years working with PMA parts, performing reverse engineering (RE) of highly complex turbine engine parts. He is a high level CMM programmer, working with touch probe, scanning probe, and laser scanner hardware. as well as RE software such as GOM and Geomagic.
Chris Hinkle
ENGINEERING MANAGER
Chris joined Core Parts as Engineering Manager in November, 2015 and has over 15 years of aerospace experience, with an emphasis on PMA turbine engine components. Prior to his aerospace work, Chris had 12 years of Engineering experience involving mechanical design of factory automation. His aerospace experience is focused on a variety of static and rotating turbine engine components such as turbine engine blades, shroud segments, gears, seals, and bearings.
